At Montreal Backpackers, you can be assured of an extremely clean accommodations, with a self-catering kitchen which is available for you. Hot showers and a common room with an Internet access point. We also have a courtyard with a BBQ.
Check in is between 5:00 pm and 11:00 pm. You can arrive at any time of the day to drop off your stuff but we would need to be notified when you are coming. There is no curfew and you will find a friendly home style atmosphere with clean, secure accommodations.

We have private rooms with queen size beds, shared bathroom. You can enjoy all the facilities of the hostel, common area, kitchen and courtyard, then return to the privacy of your own room. Only two people per private room.

We have a small female dorm and mixed dorms, all with shared facilities, we will surely find the room for you! All sheets, bedding and blankets are provided. No sleeping bags please.

If you are coming from the Greyhound bus station and you are taking our personal package deal ( two weeks minimum stay) We pay your transportation for a taxi to the front door.
you can also take the metro, (Subway) orange line, in the direction of Montmorency. Get off at (Mont Royal) stop, walk left to St- Denis, then turn left walk 5 minutes to Rachel st. turn right walk 5 minutes to Saint-Dominique, turn left, look for 4106 Saint-Dominique.

You can also take city bus # 15 from the Greyhound bus station, transfer to bus # 55 at the corner of St Laurent, get off at Duluth St. or Rachel St. walk one street right, look for 4106 St-Dominique.

Taxi fares from the airport are $35 flat rate, or you can pay $15 and travel by Aerobus shuttle to the bus station where you connect with a smaller shuttle, that drops you at the door of the hostel.

Coming by Train, ViaRail Central Station (Gare Centrale),connected to the Subway/Metro (orange line) at Station Bonaventure. From inside the train station look for (Banque Nationale), go down the hallway marked (Hotel Place Bonaventure), turn right at the stairs, through the doors, turn right again (1000 De La Gauchetiere). Buy a metro ticket, (best deal is to buy 6 tickets)go in the Montmorency direction then get off at Station Mont-Royal, walk left to St- Denis, then turn left walk 5 minutes to Rachel St. turn right walk 5 minutes to St-Dominique, turn left, look for 4106 St-Dominique.
