	If you love nature and the outdoors, then the Wooden Bear Lodge B&B in Nova Scotia is the perfect destination for you to relax and unwind!
	Our traditional styled home is nestled into the hillside of Porters Lake with a breathtaking view of the granite cliffs. Stroll through the English country gardens, stop by the fish pond or meander down the path to the waterfront.
	At the waterfront, relax at our Boathouse that sits on the water's edge, swim or fish from the dock, or take the canoe out for a paddle. Lakeside campfires on the weekends (weather permitting).
	Our B&B features luxury, comfortable beds and great homemade food! Enjoy the comforts of Cable TV, LCD TV's, DVD's, Fridge in Room, Wifi, Fan, Phone and Robes in your rooms.

Location & Transportation

We are located on a waterfront property that is a rural, wilderness area. We have a large variety of wildlife that share our property year round, however we are also only 10 minutes from the local village of Porters Lake and 20 minutes from the main City of Dartmouth/Halifax.
Directions	Traveling East on the #107Highway, take Exit 19 into Porters Lake. Take a left from the off ramp. Travel to the end of the West Porters Lake Rd until the Stop sign. Take another left. A very short distance, take a right onto the Myra Road. We are located approx. 7.2km in on the lakeside.
