This Luxury Boutique Mountain Lodge is located just steps away from the Eagles Express at the base of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort at Golden B.C. Canada in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is just 45 minutes from Lake Louise and an hour and a half from Banff. Heated bathroom floors, feather rest beds, wood plank flooring, complimentary breakfast, overstuffed furniture, a huge split-log bar, and rock fireplace are just a few of the outstanding features of Vagabond Lodge. | | Bedrooms do not have TVs or phones but there is a media room on the main floor with Satelitte Television, free DVD movies, a variety of games and a pool table. A phone is available in the guest area with free local calls. Wireless internet and a computor is also available for guest use. | | All bedrooms are tastefully decorated in earth tones, with armoirs and antique designed furniture. Some rooms have balconies as well as lofts. | | On the lower level, a secure ski/snowboard room is available along with a boot dryer. Vagabond Lodge does not have a liquor license, so guests are able to bring their own and it in a cooler behind the bar. A liquor store is located across the road. |

We are located on Cache Close which is the 1st right hand turn when you get to the resort. | | Transportation | Pure Travel Group, operates a daily service from the Calgary International airport during ski season. Another option is Greyhound. | | Airport | Calgary International Airport and Cranbrook BC both are a 3 hours drive. Golden has a small airport for private planes only. |
