Overview

	Shantz Haus is a boutique hostel that has the ambience of a B&B with all the conviences of a hostel.
	The hostel has a fully equipped kitchen with many little extras, a common room with fireplace and piano, free wireless internet access and an awesome patio and barbeque.
	Linens are provided and dorm rooms have lockers for storing valuables. There is parking available and Storgage for bikes and boards.
	The hostel is located in the town of Courtenay which is located in the Comox Valley. The area has access to both the local mountains for hiking, biking and skiing as well as the ocean and local rivers for swimming, kayaking, boating and tubing.

Location & Transportation

Directions	take exit 117 off the inland highway onto the connector into Courtenay. At approximately 1km there is a set of lights. Turn left onto Cumberland Road and follow this road into town. At approxiamtely 4 km. you come to a set of lights a Fitzgerald Ave. Turn left and at the next 4-way stop turn left again. The hostel is the third building on the lefthand side
Transportation	Greyhound busline, via rail, Island link, local transist that runs out of downtown

	Small hostel with 4 rooms in total. Two dorm rooms with one bieng a six bed dorm that has a full ensuite and the other a 4 bed. both have lockers in the rooms and lots of storage space.
	The two private rooms each have a double and single bed in them. Please contact the hostel personally to enquire as to availability.
