The Harbour Guesthouse is located in the old Atwater Market building built in 1950. With its old fir hardwood floors and high ceilings, the interesting property has a history all of its own. The Harbour Guesthouse has had numerous vocations before becoming the comfortable abode that it is today, including an underground gambling house, a market and of course the place to shower and do laundry for all the transient boaters heading up and down the coast! | | Relax & Rejuvinate

Powell River the Pearl on the Sunshine Coast, is a small, vibrant community, unique in its character and charm. Situated on the mainland, but accessible only by ferry, Powell River is surrounded by the beauty of the Coast Mountains, freshwater lakes and of course the magic of the ocean. Our sunsets are incredible (and numerous), and there is plenty of art, culture, good food, and fresh air recreation to keep the traveller coming back. Our guesthouse is in the heart of town, on Marine Avenue. Just step out the door and your on your way... | | Directions | We are situated directly across from the Westview (Comox) BC Ferry terminal, above the Thaidal Zone Restaurant.
From the Malaspina Bus terminal walk down Courtenay St towards the ocean and then turn left on Willingdon Ave - 200 meters down Willingdon on the left. | | Transportation | We are located opposite the Westview (Comox) ferry terminal, which is also a pick up and drop off location for Malaspina Coach Lines. | | Airport | YPW - Powell River Airport is a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk. Taxis are available. |

 | Fully renovated in 2005 our bedrooms have quality bedding & linen, reading lamps, storage, desks or tables, storage hooks & racks and all of our rooms come with an ocean view. | | Fully equipped kitchen with supplies for 20+ guests. We have a microwave, fridge, pantry, recycling centre, and everything else you need to make a gourmet travellers meal. | | Our 3 shared bathrooms contain all new fittings. Each bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. | | We have 2 very comfortable lounge areas, with big comfy couches and a couple of hammocks. We also have a great coffee/meals bar that looks out across beautiful Georgia Straight and beyond to Vancouver Islands mountain peaks.
Our guests office space is set up with a PC, desk and sound system. We also have wireless access for those who bring their own laptops. |

We require a credit card number at the time of booking to guarantee your bed, but payment will be made upon arrival.
We have a 100% 48 hour cancellation policy that applies to all bookings. We will charge you for the first night of your booking only. This penalty will be applied to the credit card given to guarantee your booking. |
